Stringr is a marketplace that allows media organizations, like TV stations and media outlets, to buy video from amateur and professional videographers. Stringr’s platform is designed to allow the organizations to request specific video clips all across the U.S. and the U.K. The Stringrs (videographers) can then go out and get the requested footage and upload it to www.stringr.com. Once uploaded, the media organizations can preview all footage, and if they like what they see, the can immediately download the video in HD! Once they hit the download button, the videographer will get paid via PayPal the next business day!

Stringr’s iOS and Android apps contact Stringrs about requests almost immediately via our around the clock curation team. By enabling push notifications, Stringr will let videographers know when requests come in close by, so that they can be the first on sight to get content! Shoot video, make money. I was never asked to enable “push”. So, how do l make sure “push” is presently enabled?

      Hi Alex,

      Thanks for getting in touch!

That function is not found on the actual app.

If you are using an iPhone, he is how to enable push notifications: go to Settings > Notifications > scroll down to the Stringr app > click “Allow Notifications”

Below that, you should be able to select what type of notification you prefer to receive, whether it be an audible sound, a visible app icon, or popping up on the lock screen.

Looking forward to seeing your uploads on Stringr!!

Let me know if you have any additional questions.
